Eddie Vargas Receives Two "Outstanding Senior" Awards

Eddie Vargas, undergraduate senior in the Miller lab, has been named Outstanding Senior in the NSCS Program and overall, in the College of Science. Eddie exemplifies the spirit of these awards given his dedication to academics, research, and service including leadership as a NSCS and College of Science Ambassador. Eddie's senior honors thesis is the culmination of three years of painstaking work in the Miller lab. His work focuses on understanding how Parkinson's Disease impacts molecular mechanisms in the brain that are important for vocal motor control.
